The Women’s Law Association of Ontario is a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to advancing issues and causes relevant to women in the legal profession through education and awareness programs.

The association has existed since 1919 as a vibrant, active voice for women in the profession and a vital resource to members in their pursuit of fulfilling and successful careers in law.

WLAO provides valuable networking opportunities via social  and educational events in a professional and supportive environment.

We welcome all law students, lawyers and judges as members.

Young Women in Law (YWL) is a Not for Profit Organization for women lawyers in their early stages of practice.  YWL acts as a central forum for women to connect, enhance their skills, and give back to their community. Click to view the YWL Mission.

YWL hosts a variety of networking events that provide our members with opportunities to meet and establish connections with other YWL members, develop and enhance life and career skills, and get special access to conferences and deals offered by our partners.
